2005	Å	Greater Palm River Point, CDC institutes first major new program "Palm River 1st"

2004	Å	Greater Palm River Point, CDC secures 70% increase in overall funding

2003	Å	Greater Palm River Point, CDC Strategic Plan is completed - Board votes and approves three year plan. Establishes New Vision, Goals, and Strategies (Board members and over 200 residents participate in strategic planning process) FY 2004 - Urgent Action Plan for fundraising & reorganization FY 2005 - Program Development: per community input FY 2006 - Production: Program Implementation & Community Engagement FY 2007 - Operations: Sustainability and Community Engagement

2003	Å	Liz Gutierrez hired as new Executive Director for the Greater Palm River Point, CDC

2002	Å	Children’s Board of Hillsborough County funding scheduled set to end for Greater Palm River Point, CDC

2001	Å	Leadership Turnover occurs at Greater Palm River Point, CDC

2000	Å	Greater Palm River Point, CDC begins Community Improvement Campaign

2000	Å	Children’s Board of Hillsborough County program funding set to end for Greater Palm River Point, CDC

1999	Å	Community Assessment completed of Palm River area to identify needs and priorities

1998	Å	Greater Palm River Point, CDC Funding Priorities Set and first request for proposal(RFP) Issued. Greater Palm River Point, CDC directs Children’s Board of Hillsborough County funding into community investments: Early School Success, Economic Development, Physical Improvement (Road/Water Quality/Flooding), Crime Prevention/Reduction, Health Forums, Training Activities, and Community Building Activities.
