Children’s Board of Hillsborough County In 1988, Hillsborough residents agreed that improving supports and services to our county’s children and families was a major priority for our community’s future. Voters passed a levy of up to 50 cents per $1,000 of assessed property taxes for children’s services aimed at prevention and early intervention. Thus, the Children’s Board was established in 1989 with a mission of improving the lives of children and families in Hillsborough County.

	Glazer Foundation The Glazer Family Foundation is dedicated to assisting charitable and educational causes in the West Central Florida region. The Foundation works with established not-for-profit organizations that work with youth and families to help identify and create programs that support positive social and economic development within our communities.

	Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners The mission of Hillsborough County government is to provide effective quality service at a reasonable cost with courtesy, integrity and accountability in a manner that protects and enhances the quality of life of our diverse population.

LISC - Local Initiatives Support Corporation LISC helps resident-led, community-based development organizations transform distressed communities and neighborhoods into healthy ones – good places to live, do business, work and raise families. By providing capital, technical expertise, training and information, LISC supports the development of local leadership and the creation of affordable housing, commercial, industrial and community facilities, businesses and jobs. We help neighbors build communities.

United Way The United Way system includes more than 1,300 community-based United Way organizations. Each is independent, separately incorporated and governed by local volunteers.
