In an effort to better serve Palm River residents, Greater Palm River POINT, CDC
(The POINT), has moved to the Save-A-Lot shopping plaza off Palm River Road, a
more central location in the Palm River area.
The POINT has grown considerably over the past three years and had outgrown
their previous location off Causeway Boulevard. “Opening our offices in the
heart of Palm River is part of the POINT’s strategy to further our presence in
the community,” said Executive Director, Liz Gutierrez.
This move presents us with the opportunity to provide an economical solution to
our space challenges and consolidate our offices into a dedicated space.
Gutierrez attributes their success to their growing programs and adding new
staff. “We are growing faster than we had ever imagined! The future only seems
open for more growth!”
Residents are now welcome to enjoy the POINT facilities at anytime: use of
residential computers, Kid’s room, and our Community Resource Network
Information Corner.
The new address is 7454 Palm River Road; Tampa, FL.; 33619. The phone number,

"We encourage everyone to come and get acquainted with us and tour our
facilities," said Kim Bennerman, Community Resource Network Coordinator. Plans
for an Open House “celebration” are in the works so stay tuned for more details
