We, the members of Greater Palm River POINT, CDC represent a community that is proud of its history, tradition, diversity, resources, and its ability to overcome challenges. We envision a community that:

• Recognizes the value of all of our residents and the contributions that each one makes to the community;
   
• Supports the growth and development of our youngest residents and seeks to create opportunities and environments where young and old can gather to share their dreams and learn from each other’s experiences;
   
• Works to improve our physical environment by preserving and designing open spaces and parks that are safe, attractive and clean, where children can safely walk or bike to school and where private homes and public spaces are a source of pride to residents and visitors alike;
   
• Treasures its connection to its history and advocates for the preservation of its close-nit neighborhood character as it grows; and,
   
• Welcomes growth and development that enhances our economic base while respecting our natural resources and people.
