Community Resource Network (CRN) is a information and referral network for connecting residents of Greater Palm River to the world of services, programs and opportunities available in Hillsborough County, Florida.

As your linkage partner, we bring together individuals, social service agencies and companies who might otherwise not find each other.

Whether we are linking you with meaningful volunteer opportunities in your community, or helping you access vital information through our network— the Community Resource Network (CRN) helps you get connected!

Connecting You to the Services You Need!

The Community Resource Network is an active and growing program in the community of Palm River. Activities and events held of the past year include:

• Voter’s Forum - The POINT hosed and moderated 2 Voter Forums for County and State elections in 2006. Community partners for the event include: Greater Palm River Civic Association, Progress Village Civic Council and the POINT’s Community Planning Team. 
• Seniors Casa Project - The POINT works in partnership with the Seniors Casa Project, residents and volunteers by renovating houses and doing at-home repairs for seniors living in the Community. On October 21st, the POINT worked on Marcela Alvarez’s home, a longtime resident in Palm River.
• Community Planning Team - The POINT’s Community Event Planning Team holds monthly meetings to identify Community events and activities to help build community pride and host events and activities. The Planning Team recently coordinated the logistics of the both Voter’s Forums in 2006.
