Greetings from the Executive Director

Welcome old and new friends! We are pleased that you have chosen to visit our site. Please let us know how our site can be more useful to you and your family.

To those returning friends of the POINT, you who had the vision to understand the importance of establishing a neighborhood network focused upon strengthening the social and economic capacity of our community, I applaud you. To those of you who have collaborated and advocated for positive change on behalf of your community, I commend you and say, “job well done!” The POINT’s positive impact on this community is evident as a result of your involvement.

Moving forward, I challenge us all to continue this great legacy. The world has changed and so has our community. While many positive changes are evident, there is still much work to be done. As in the past, to be effective, we must do it together!

Providing the necessary foundation and resources to help prepare children and families for the future is a priority of The POINT. Currently, we offer a variety of workshops for parents and youth, one-on-one family support, referrals for social services and access to community computers.
